I pray that you had a wonderful Christmas and a great beginning of the new year. We had a change of plans this year. Usually, we would travel down to sunny, warm, Florida for the winter months. This year we traded in for some snow in Lewisburg, WV. It has been a long time since we were able to be in snow. As a person who lives in a 5th wheel camper, we have tried our best to flee from the white stuff. Not this year. In deciding to not go to Florida, we have opted for several inches of snow and freezing temperatures. We can now say that we can survive below freezing in our camper. The coldest has now been a -6 with a wind-chill of -30 degrees. With much prayer and preparation, Kelly and I have remained warm and blessed.
We have some awesome news! Our daughter, Elizabeth, is now officially engaged to Josiah Coates of Vancouver Canada. We could not be any happier and blessed. These two, young people genuinely love God, and their lives show it. Josiah’s plans are to finish his last year of
college and then move back to Canada. They will be making plans as church planting missionaries to French-speaking Quebec.
I was honored to be involved in two Christmas programs. It has been a very long time since I was in a Christmas program. Praise the Lord there were over a dozen saved at the presentations.
The Lord opened a door for us to help in the strengthening of our home church in Lewisburg, WV. We have been able to strengthen the children’s ministry, perform much-needed maintenance on the building and to be a great encouragement to our Pastor.
We are using this time to enhance our ministry and by working on a new website. This website that will be a great blessing to many churches and pastors.
Please continue to pray for our travels and upcoming meetings. I do have meetings down in Florida, but also in Virginia, New Jersey, and Ohio. Each meeting is a time of church encouragement and church strengthening.
